Role of MSME Units in our Industries

Objective

This internship program on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of MSME dynamics, including definitions, classifications, and their significance in the Indian economy. Interns will analyse the role of industries in societal development, specifically how MSMEs contribute to employment, innovation, and economic growth. The program covers the registration process for MSMEs, including UDYAM registration, while also examining various government schemes and benefits available under the MSMED Act and other central initiatives. By engaging in hands-on projects and discussions, interns will enhance their critical thinking and problem-solving skills within real-world MSME contexts.
